caroprocione.com was my passion project as a 12 years old. i randomly started reading a book about html we had at home on saturday nights. i wrote by hand the very first version of the website in microsoft bloc notes app and saved as a .html file. my cousin registered the domain and hosted it for me as a gift. i had no idea about any of those technical things back then. the name was a homage to my first hamster (RIP) that my mum used to call "the raccoon" in order to disparage him (for some reason). raccoon is "procione" in italian and caro is "beloved".
