Celebrations in Messina for the "Holy Mary of the Letter". It is said that she wrote a letter in Hebrew blessing the city "vos et ipsam civitatem benedicimus", translated to Latin. The letter had a lock of her hair attached and the hair are conserved in a silver ship sculpture.
Went back to it in 2025. I also went back to it in 2023 but I lost all the photos because I was overworking and I had the computer full with a client's job and didn't realise until two years later. Needless to say it felt extremely demoralising.
